She's a famous TV and radio star who has been a fan favourite for nearly two decades.

And the Adelaide-born beauty and Gold Logie winner took to her Instagram on Sunday to share a throwback video of her earliest days in television.

In it, the famed presenter and funnywoman can be seen delivering a series of hilarious skits on Network 10's top rating chat show Rove Live.

The now 43-year-old appeared to have heavily plucked her eyebrows in the clip, which was filmed in 2006.

Her regular spot on the Rove show which consisted of delivering a comedic spin on the days' news helped to gain her a cult following.

Beginning her career as a radio journalist, her gig with Rove McManus eventually led to a role as presenter on The 7.30pm Project in 2009, which later became The Project.

So can you guess who the TV and radio star is? That's right, it's Carrie Bickmore.

The beloved presenter left The Project in 2022 and now stars on her drive time Hit radio show with Tommy Little.

Carrie had fun at her own expense with her post, which featured clips of the future TV star with then-fashionable eyebrows and heavy make-up.

'To the anxious girl, the funny girl, the brave girl, the girl with no eyebrows, I love you,' she shared with fans in the caption.

Her friend Rove McManus, 50, messaged her in response: 'A superstar and she doesn’t even know it yet.'

Carrie's 'news' sports on Rove, dubbed, 'Carrie at the News Desk,' became notorious for her silly but hilarious introductions.

'I'm Carrie Bickmore, just like a chocolate milkshake, only newsie,' she once told her fans on Rove Live.

In 2010 Carrie would received one of TV's top gongs, a Logie for Best New Female Talent and was later nominated for the Gold Logie in 2012 and 2013.

But in 2015, she finally scored the Gold Logie and wowed fans when she used her moment of glory to pay tribute to her late husband Greg Lange, who had died of brain cancer only five years earlier.

Carrie started her career as a newsreader at 92.9 in Perth. She later moved to Melbourne and by 2002 had her own drive time show with co-host Andy Ross on Nova 100.

Carrie shares a son Ollie, with her late husband.

She also shares two daughters, Evie, eight, and Adelaide, five, with ex partner Chris Walker. The couple separated in 2023 after being together for over a decade.

It comes after Carrie  and Tommy Little recently celebrated a career milestone.

The radio duo recently took out Australia's #1 Drive Show in Melbourne and Brisbane during survey four, making it their third consecutive win.

It's the best result the Hit Network has received for the Drive slot since 2018, and the best result in Drive for Brisbane B105 since 2010.
