Cody Simpson has shared a heartfelt tribute to his partner Emma McKeon after she became the country's most prolific gold medallist at the Paris Olympics.
The 30-year-old's 4x100m freestyle relay win on the first night in the pool took McKeon to six golds, one ahead of legend Ian Thorpe.
Simpson, 27, who almost qualified for the Games himself, took to Instagram on Tuesday to cheer on Emma's success.
Cody shared a picture of himself next to his sweetheart as she held up her gold medal beside a display case with her other medals from the 2024 games.
Both Cody and Emma were all smiles in the photo, with Cody wearing a white T-shirt and cream chinos and his girlfriend wearing the Aussie gold and green.
In the caption, he shared his pride at her accomplishments, claiming it was a 'privilege' to watch her success.
'Golden girl. Emma, to have had a seat to watch you compete and complete your Olympic career with such grace and power was a privilege,' Cody wrote.
'You inspire me immensely and it's an honour to be your man! I'm punching and I know it so I'm glad you haven't figured that out yet!' he added, suggesting Emma was out of his league.

It comes as Cody, who accompanied his partner to Paris to support her, gushed on live television after her first big win at the games.
'We are all proud of her,' Simpson said on Nine after Emma's first gold medal.
'She'll be so humble about it. She'll never say it herself, but it's pretty special what she's done.
'It's unreal. She had a blistering swim this morning - she really wanted to be in that final and get on that podium.
'I'm so proud of her for getting that done.'

McKeon announced her intention to retire after the games ended last week.
The couple went 'Instagram official' with their relationship in July 2022, three months after they began dating in secret.

The pair splashed out $1.826million on a family-sized love nest on the Gold Coast, proving their headline-making romance that flourished during training for the 2022 Commonwealth Games has become rather serious.
