Simone Holtznagel has revealed she and her four-month-old baby Gia will be staying in a 'postpartum hotel' to 'relax and renew'.

The model, 31, returned to Instagram for the first time since her shock split from Jono Castano just weeks after they welcomed their first baby together.

Posting two videos on Wednesday, the socialite cuddled up with her bundle of joy and said they will spend 'a few days' at the $2,200 a night hotel in Double Bay.

'We are currently packing because we are going to stay at Borne. Are you excited? Are you excited, bubba?' she said as she cooed to her adorable baby.

'So we are going to stay for a few days at the new postpartum hotel that is in the InterContinental in Double Bay.

'We're going because Gia is currently four months old and after being an amazing baby and sleeping through the night since she was 10 weeks old, we're currently going through the four month sleep regression.'

Simone went on to say she will be speaking with 'lactation consultants' during her stay at the postpartum hotel so she can get Gia to drink from a bottle.

'We're going to try and teach you how to take a bottle finally because she just flatly refuses,' she said as she doted over her child.

'I have some massages booked in and some relax and renew time. Some little special bonding time and you're going to learn how to sleep through the night again.'

It comes after a close friend revealed on Friday that the writing was on the wall for the end of Simone and Jono's relationship for quite some time.

A source told The Daily Telegraph that several friends and family members warned Simone her model lifestyle was not compatible with Jono's fitness influencer career.

The first sign of trouble was when Jono, 33, posted pictures of himself on a luxurious holiday in Thailand days after Gia's birth on March 31 without Simone and their baby.

Although many of Jono's followers were quick to gush over the snaps, Simone neither liked or commented on them.

Meanwhile, another follower pointedly asked: 'Don't you have a newborn baby? Where's your girlfriend?'

Earlier this month, Jono officially confirmed the shock news that he and Simone had gone their separate ways, just weeks after welcoming their first child together.

The fitness fanatic explained that he and Simone had decided to part ways nine weeks ago, around the end of May.

Jono exclusively told Daily Mail Australia of the split: 'We just decided it was best for her to spend time with her family in Wollongong.

'Who knows what the future holds our idea is just to be the best parents for Gia at this stage.'

The former lovebirds are no longer living together, with Simone moving to Wollongong with Gia, while Jono stays in Sydney to manage his Acero Gym chain.
