Robbie Williams reveals he and wife Ayda Field have secretly renewed their wedding vows after 14-years of marriage before sharing the downside of his new teeth in bizarre post

Robbie Williams has revealed that he and wife Ayda Field have secretly renewed their wedding vows after 14-years of marriage.

The singer, 50, who shares four children with his wife, 45, took to Instagram on Wednesday with a bizarre post where he also revealed the downside of his new teeth.

At the bottom of a very lengthy statement, in which he discussed everything from the Olympics to jet lag, Robbie  said: 'Oh, Me and Ayda renewed our vows'.

Before going on to add: 'I am very very very grateful. I'm grateful right now. I'm not in the future, tired and stressed. I'm right here right now grateful'.

He also explained how his new temporary gnashers, after years of 'abusing' his natural teeth, had left him unable to continue a favourite past time.

Writing: 'Now ever since I can remember I've bitten my nails. I love it. Biting the nail then chewing it. My new teeth have no nerve endings'.

'Also, my new teeth can't bite into the nail. With no nerve endings comes no texture joy from my favourite calorie-free nibble. So I guess that's gone then.*pulls Eurgh face'.

The couple wed in 2010 and are parents to Teddy, 11, Charlie, nine, Coco, six and four-year-old Beau.

They were due to renew their vows next year after being forced to delay plans in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic.

In February Ayda told Hello! how she hoped her mother Gwen, who was suffering ill health, and the family's' 18-year-old dog Poupette would be around to take part in the celebrations.

'I do think with my mom's health and if Poupette can hold on one more year, we will do a 15-year anniversary renewal. There are a lot of relatives and people who need to stay alive, but yes, let's do it!'

She continued: 'I feel grateful to know that the man I'm in love with there is still the man I'm married to today, but even better. To have our families there, too - you don't realise how precious these moments are. We've really had a remarkable run and that day was the start of it.'

The 2010 ceremony took place their £12million Beverly Hills home and saw Robbie take to the stage to sing a version of his own hit song, Angels, in front of a handful of gathered guests.

Before going on to add: 'I am very very very grateful. I'm grateful right now. I'm not in the future, tired and stressed. I'm right here right now grateful'

He also admitted it was an unconventional ceremony, with no Best Man and guests being told they were going to a James Bond themed party until moments before the event started.

His latest post read: Pleasantries Hail Keanu And Peace be with you. So, when I asked you what things annoy you that don’t annoy everyone. One that came up a few times was writing ‘’So’’ at the beginning of anything. Soz'.

'Now ever since I can remember I’ve bitten my nails. I love it. Biting the nail then chewing it. My new teeth have no nerve endings. Also, my new teeth can’t bite into the nail. With no nerve endings comes no texture joy from my favourite calorie-free nibble. So I guess that’s gone then.*pulls Eurgh face.

'I’m on a flight, I’m going somewhere. As we left the house to travel to the airport my thoughts were on the journey and the journey after the journey'.

He continued: 'I have to travel literally around the world in the next few days. Gigs, more gigs, flights, jet lag. This was at the front of my mind as I passed the many palm trees of LA. Anxiety about future tiredness. Anxiety about future tiredness and shows. Then I realised where I’d just come from and the glorious time me my family and friends had just had. And how I’m normally leaving some sort of adventure that I never look back at with gratitude. In my mind there’s just future f***ry'.

'So here goes, I spent time with my friends. My friends make me very happy. We all watched the Olympics together. The Olympics were incredibly wholesome. I had a few lovely baths and really enjoyed the me time. I met new people that I really liked and my life is better for those encounters.'

'I feel confident and I’m experiencing a new vitality that I’ve been missing. I got a new smile. I got a new pink jacket. I played in the pool. I ate some crap and it was lovely crap. I wrote and recorded 2 new songs. One for the end titles of my film. I played basketball with Teddy Charlie and Beau. Oh, Me and Ayda renewed our vows'

Before concluding: 'I am very very very grateful. I’m grateful right now. I’m not in the future, tired and stressed. I’m right here right now grateful. What are you grateful for? Write it. Feel it. If you can’t be arsed to write it. Think it. Own it'.

It comes after the Robbie took to his main Instagram grid on Friday to unveil his new gnashers, following a trip to the dentist.

In the candid post, he admitted he only went in for consultation but ended up coming out with a brand new full set of temporary teeth.

He told fans the new teeth will remain until the individual ones are placed in a months time.

Pleased with the outcome, the former Take That star gushed he 'loves' how they look, despite being 'surprised' to undergo the transformation so quickly.

Joking about his old teeth, Robbie added: 'Maybe a few of you were fond of the old ones. They were f*****.

'They served me well, but I absolutely abused them. Opening bottles with them. Espresso staining them. Rubbing coke on them. Not brushing them properly. Clenching them for 3 whole decades.'

Reminiscing, the star concluded: 'We've been through a lot together. But now it's time to move on. Goodbye my little nubby-yellow-friends.'
