So it's no surprise Naomi Campbell pledged her allegiance to France as she was among the lucky thousands who bagged tickets to watch the World Cup final at the Luzhniki stadium in Moscow, Russia, on Sunday evening.
The ex supermodel, 48, injected the sporty proceedings with a welcome dose of glamour as she cheered on her chosen team, who were later crowned champions following their 4-2 win against Croatia.

Naomi looked on top of the world as she posed up a storm in the stands after France reigned supreme.
Throwing her hands up into the air, a clearly elated Naomi wrote: 'VIVA FRANCE ♥️⚽️ #WORLDCUP2018 RUSSIAWITHLOVE ♥️SS19 #azzedinealaia.'
The hashtag referenced the stunning white gown, complete with a sheer skirt that flashed her white bodysuit, Naomi was wearing, designed by late fashion extraordinaire Azzedine Alaia.

And her choice of dressmaker was fitting given that, despite being born in Tunisia, Azzedine spent most of his professional career as a couture designer based in Paris.
The fashion world was left in mourning when Azzedine passed away in November last year at the age of 82, having become an industry pioneer for his focus on 'discreet luxury' in his designs, choosing to focus on designing clothes rather than delve into the work of 'it bags.'
While Naomi hails from London, England, the beauty revealed she was rooting for France ahead of their big game on Sunday.

As well as sharing a number of live game updates on her Instagram story, Naomi also shared a poster of the French team, reiterating that many of the players are originally of African descent, despite being raised in France.
