Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper set tongues wagging during Sunday's 91st Academy Awards, when they performed a sensual rendition of their duet Shallow. 

And the performance, which took place in front of his girlfriend Irina Shayk, seemed to catch Mel B's eye as she lashed out at the hitmaker for threatening to flout 'women's code', during an appearance on Good Morning Britain. 

The Spice Girl said: 'See, I felt so uncomfortable for Bradley's girlfriend... But I would like to think it was part of the whole performance, because there's a women's code and hopefully that's not... hopefully it's only professional'.

Lady Gaga and Bradley's electrifying chemistry at the Academy Awards sent Twitter users into a frenzy, with one user telling the pair to 'get a room'.

Gazing into one another's eyes, the A Star Is Born co-stars gave a hot and heavy performance, nearly kissing as they reached the climax of the track, which minutes later was named the winner in the Best Song category.

Gaga's appearance at the Oscars was the first time she had been seen since ending her engagement to her fiance Christian Carino, 50.

While the newly single Gaga walked the red carpet alone, Cooper arrived hand-in-hand with his mother Gloria, and Russian model Irina, the mother of his one-year-old daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper.

As they dissected the ins and outs of the awards, Piers Morgan grilled her over the moment, saying: 'It was the look of love, wasn't it?...   

'Lady Gaga taking her engagement ring off - she just broke off from her fiance - and if you put the maths together, you have engagement ring off, and then staring at Bradley Cooper in a way that I would say crosses a few lines'.

Seated between Bradley and Gaga, the model could also be seen applauding, smiling, as Gaga walked to the stage to collect her Best Song Oscar.
