Jay Slater's pal Lucy Mae Law has been hounded with nasty comments after her old Facebook account was discovered by sick trolls.

The 18-year-old, who was believed to be the last person to make contact with the missing teen, recently broke her silence with a cryptic message.

Posting on social media for the first time since Slater mysteriously vanished following a weekend festival in Tenerife on June 17 - Lucy uploaded a selfie of the pair on social media, with a crying emoji and blue love heart.

It is thought the apprentice bricklayer, from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, called Lucy to say he was lost in the 'middle of nowhere' and that his phone was about to die.

A Facebook account under the name 'Lucy Mae', which hasn't been used since August 23, 2022, has been unearthed by trolls - who have flooded her post with nasty comments.

In a two-year-old status asking if anyone is selling a ticket for Leeds Festival, one twisted user pretending to be Jay Slater himself, wrote: "Please Lucy, find me," and "Just tell them the truth."
