“Now's the time to row back a bit and try and try and build some bridges or at least create a life for yourself.”

Phil suggested that Meghan and Harry’s recent Nigerian tour was an attempt by the couple to forge their own way, however he noted the “jury’s out as to whether that was a good idea”.

The author added the couple should try and create their own life away from the royals

“But we can't stop them doing these things if they want to. But it's now time for them to focus on positive things and not just keep slagging off the royal family.”

The couple left royal duties shortly before relocating to California, via a brief stint in Canada in 2020.

Following their departure they went on to secure lucrative media deals that dished dirt on the firm, including a $100million (£78.3million) deal with Netflix and a $20million (£15.6million) contract with Spotify.

The royal family
The couple have made many bombshell revelations since stepping down as working royals

The pair, who married in 2018, claimed Meghan was fed to the wolves during her time inside Buckingham Palace and accused the Royal Family of “institutional gaslighting” in their Netflix docuseries which was viewed by millions.

Harry’s memoir Spare revealed many sensational personal details about his and his family’s life, including punch ups with his brother, and how he and William begged King Charles not to marry Camilla, the “wicked stepmother”.

Spotify cancelled their contract slamming Harry and Meghan as a pair of “f****ing grifters”.
