A 15-time WWE Champion has hit out at an "obsessed" UK wrestler ahead of their TNA Impact title fight.

Ash by Elegance, the wrestler known as Dana Brooke during her decade-long stint in WWE, is confident of making a mark in Impact wrestling as she says she would not "sit on the sidelines" during her TNA stint.

Brooke picked up 15 24/7 Championship belt reigns during her time in the WWE, a series of title wins she remains proud of as she prepares to take on Jordynne Grace and hits out at rising UK star Xia Brookside.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Dana said: "I just have to get Xia Brookside off my chest. She's gotta get out of the way and move on. She's super obsessed with me. I see that on social media all the time. But, um, we're gonna move forward and I'm definitely hoping to face Jordynne [Grace], who I think is a phenomenal, phenomenal wrestler."

Now heading for an encounter with the daughter of the man who trained her, "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner, Dana is aiming for glory in a locker room "hungry" for title fights. "I've wrestled Charlotte [Flair], Becky [Lynch], Bayley, I've wrestled so many amazing, amazing women.

"When I step foot in the TNA locker room – they're hungry, they're super passionate." Her pride for the 24/7 belt reigns in WWE has carried over to her TNA Knockouts Championship push, with Dana crediting her time trying to "elevate the title" as good preparation for her future reigns.

"I really wanted to elevate the title," she said. "I know a lot of people thought it was like a comical thing, but I brought entertainment with that title. I got married on national television, got pinned for the title, I took pride in that. I tried to bring realism with a sense of humour with this title."

Ever the optimist, even being released by WWE last November did not stop Dana from picking herself up and heading back out on the road with another company. With over a decade of experience, Dana now has her sights set on pulling up talents like the "obsessed" Xia.

Dana added: "I hope once I become champion, I can inspire other girls that are stuck in the same position I was to get out there and spread their wings."
