Andrew Tate launched into a nasty rant about John Cena's Oscars nude appearance before he was arrested today (March 12).

The controversial influencer was detained earlier today in Romania, after an arrest was issued by UK authorities over allegations of sexual aggression.

But before he was, he unleashed a bizarre rant at WWE legend Cena. The wrestler had strolled onto the Oscars stage completely starkers, apart from an envelope covering his bits as he announced the nominees, much to the audience's amusement.

This fun bit was a nod to a legendary moment in Oscar history when a streaker dashed across the stage way back in 1974.

However, this cheeky act didn't sit well with right wing influencer Andrew Tate. The self-proclaimed misogynist found himself in the spotlight after getting kicked out of the UK version of Big Brother in 2016 following a video that seemed to show him behaving badly towards a woman.

Andrew felt compelled to slam the wrestler-turned-Hollywood-actor on his podcast. "John Cena, yesterday at The Oscars, was doing his humiliation ritual to satisfy his gay paymasters and everyone's going to say, 'Oh, maybe he's just promoting a movie. Maybe maybe maybe,'" he raved.

Andrew is notorious for his outrageous and prejudiced opinions, often speaking harshly about the LGBTQIA+ community and championing traditional masculinity, reports the Mirror US.

Andrew said: "I can promote it in other ways. I won't do it because my principles are too strong. To say he's only promoting the movie is still agreeing with me because you're saying he's promoting his movie for money because he sold his soul to his gay paymasters."

Andrew's comments upset fans, with one writing: "This statement by Andrew Tate is offensive and homophobic. It is not acceptable to make derogatory comments about someone's sexuality, and baseless accusations like this have no place in civilised discourse."

Another added: "What if he's just having fun? People have become way too strict lmfao."
