WWE's "most downloaded celebrity" Tammy Lynn Sytch says she is suffering with "severe blot clot" in prison.

Once the darling of the wrestling world, Sytch went from hot property to porn star to jail bird in just a matter of years. Now, while serving a 17-year stretch behind bars for her role in a fatal crash, the Hall of Famer told TMZ Sports she is struggling with her health.

And what's more the 51-year-old is fuming about how she is being treated by authorities. She told the publication after she was relocated to Lowell Correctional Institution in Marion County earlier this year that she noticed something wrong with her leg.

She said she started feeling a lot of swelling from her knee to her toes, and went to get medical help.

However, Sytch claims she was given the run-around for weeks by prison officials, despite having a leg which looked "like somebody put a bicycle tyre pump on it and just inflated it twice the size".

She says things got so bad with her limb that it turned "funky colours" and even developed a "huge red lump right under" the calf at one point.

Speaking from prison, where she is set to remain until January 2040, she told the publication she could barely walk on her leg.

She said after days of complaining she was sent for tests and the results showed there was a blood clot, and required blood thinners.

But even then Sytch says getting the meds into her body has been hard work, and she's worried about the care she's get from prison officials during the healing process.

"All that's been going through my mind for the past three weeks is, 'Oh, my God, I'm going to follow in [my ex-husband's] footsteps and die of a blood clot just like he did because I can't get medical treatment at this prison," she said. "It's pretty bad."

Sytch shot to fame on the wrestling scene in in 1990s, joining Jim Cornette’s Smoky Mountain Wrestling where she accompanied boyfriend wrestler Chris Candido to the ring.

She was considered wrestling’s first diva and named the most downloaded person on the internet by AOL in 1996. Sytch was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011 and later appeared in Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling.

But in 2018, following Candido's passing in 2005, Tammy's wrestling career took a nosedive. She decided to leave the ring behind and transitioned to a new career in adult entertainment.

But her troubled life away from the spotlight started to derail her second career.

Her string of criminal charges date back to 2012 and include arrests and charges of crimes as varied as disorderly conduct, third-degree burglary, violating a protective order, contempt of court and fugitive charges, and threatening to kill a partner with a pair of scissors.

Unfortunately, Sytch's downfall was sealed in 2022 when she caused a fatal car crash in Florida, resulting in the death of a 75-year old man due to driving under the influence.

The ex-star had a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit when she was speeding along a highway and slammed into another vehicle that had stopped at a traffic light. The driver, Julian Lasseter, was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

In 2023, Tammy pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter and was jailed for 17 years.
