The Loch Ness monster has been spotted again - but not in its usual Scottish Highlands location. Instead, the creature was spotted on a highway in the US.

The peculiar sighting occurred in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, a category 5 Atlantic hurricane. It's common for unusual and random items to appear on roads following such storms, as noted by What's The Jam.

Over time, zoo animals, reptiles, cars, trees, and even boats have been found miles away from their original locations. However, this is likely the first instance of a storm resulting in a Loch Ness Monster sighting over 4,000 miles away from home.

A photo depicts the 'creature' situated in the first lane of Interstate 45 at Crosstimbers Street, leaving drivers astounded...even if it's probably just debris thrown up by the storm.

"Pretty sure that the Loch Ness monster was just spotted in the number one lane of traffic on I45 SB at Cross timbers," read the caption of a Facebook post by Houston Police Officers Union, reports the Daily Record.

"Makes sense."

But it's Nessie who steals the show.

One woman humorously remarked: "That's the Hot Mess Monster! ".

Tommy chimed in: "I saw it and was like what the hell is this? ".

Larry commented: "Best photo evidence I've ever seen."

The mysterious entity was spotted on Monday, July 8. However, the so-called 'monster' tragically turned out to be a chair swept onto the roads... or perhaps not?
