Ex-WWE star Virgil once claimed he bedded a million ladies, but fans did some quick sums and they're not buying it.

The legend of the ring was confirmed dead today by close friend Mark Charles III, who revealed Virgil's passing to devastated fans. The former WWE and WCW alumni had suffered a series of health battles in recent years, including two strokes and a dementia diagnosis.

The wrestling hero told a whopper on The Breadstick Diaries podcast, claiming he's been with loads of women all over the world. While talking to host Vinny Vegas, Virgil, real name Michael Jones, was asked by a fan: "What's your number Virgil, how many girls?".

Virgil
Virgil was adamant his claim on bedding a million women was true

He said, "I don't know, maybe like... worldwide? Probably a million,". Vinny couldn't help but giggle and asked him: "Virgil, come on, a million?". But Virgil stuck to his story, saying: "Yep, you've got like how many people in the world?".

Vinny then said: "So you're claiming right now, you're telling me, your estimated number of women you had sex with is a million?". Virgil said it might be true, even though legendary wrestler Ric Flair reckons he's been with 10,000 women.

But being with a million women would take ages, even if you were super quick, so people listening to the podcast said Virgil was talking nonsense.

The WWE legend suffered a series of health issues over the last few years

One fan calculated: "Okay, I did the math: Virgil was born April 7th, 1951. For him to been with 1,000,000 women, that's an average of one woman every 37.5 minutes of his entire life since birth."

Another fan added their own calculations, saying: "I did the math as well over 40 years of wrestling. About 60 or so a day lol."

A third fan expressed doubt, stating: "No way. Ric Flair was THE man and had 10,000+. Sorry Virgil/Vincent/Soul Train Jones I don't believe it."
