McDonald's is launching a new drink in time for summer – but they are axing a 'fan favourite' flavour to fill the space.

Life is all about balance, right? Well, you'll have to deal with the emotions of losing a popular drink from the fast food chain, yet, also be happy with the brand new addition to the menu.

The Biscoff Frappe instantly became a fan favourite amongst McDonald's customers with some even branding it 'phenomenal'.

But it's time to wave goodbye to the hit caramel-style biscuit frappe and give the Oreo Frappe a big welcome.

From Tuesday June 25, McDonald's fans can get their hands on the new flavour.

The drink will be available from McDonald’s UK and Republic of Ireland for a limited time only.

The Oreo Frappe is soon to be available at McDonald's!

McDonald's customers can expect to slurp on the vanilla base blended with ice and Oreo pieces, finished with a squirt of cream and and even more Oreo pieces.

The drink has been dubbed 'perfect' for summer and will cost £3.09 for a regular and £3.39 for a large. It will be available until September 3.

In time for the summer, McDonald's have also updated their dessert menu and welcomed two brand new desserts.

The Vegan Scoop comes in both Choco and Strawberry and will be a welcome addition for many, especially those with dietary needs.

However, only stores in the Republic of Ireland and in the North West of England will be serving the vegan frozen desserts – so those down south will need to make the pilgrimage.

Both flavours cost £1.59 and come in little tubs in two different colours depending on the flavour.
