A racy star who quit the industry after an AIDS scare has revealed the most traumatising request she had on set.

Lisa Ann, who gained popularity in 2008 for satirising Republican politician Sarah Palin, claims the incident made her storm off the shoot. The adult film stalwart has been in the industry since the 90s, despite temporarily stopping in 1997 due to an AIDS scare in porn.

She resumed her career in 2006 and managed to pick up the Hall of Fame handle from the likes of AVN, XRCO, and Urban X. Despite retiring a few years ago the 52-year-old is often considered as one of the most popular saucy stars.

Lisa, from Pennsylvania, US, told the publication there is a darker side to what is seen on-screen. She revealed how fans used to offer her money for sex.

Lisa said: "It is so annoying. It shows me how confused people are, that they've built this one way relationship with me they feel entitled to my time.

"I've realised that the accessibility to the free content and the hours some of these guys watch just confuses them."

She also said retaining her principles would see her walk "out on a lot of porn sets" when a director pushed her too far.

Lisa said she has walked on a lot of sets, and one incident involving a crucifix saw her not even engaging with the director. "I just packed my stuff," Lisa admitted. "And I remember being out in the parking lot, and he's, like, 'You're leaving?'

"I'm like, 'Yeah, the fact that you would disrespect a religion means I just can't share my brand with you. I can't work with you.

She said the idea was so extreme it traumatised her that anybody would even consider it. Lisa thinks it's important to take action and prevent young people from accessing explicit adult content when considering the industry as a whole.

She said in the 90s it was hard for under 18s to gain access to porn, but nowadays kids as young as 10 are getting hold of it and are "addicted" by the time they're 18.
