Upgrade your crisp game with these quintessentially British flavours.

Walkers has partnered with food giant Heinz to treat foodies wanting their favourite sandwiches without the hassle of washing up. Debuting in supermarkets nationwide last week (August 12), the crisp maker released a trio of unusual flavours reminiscent of its 2009 competition that saw bizarre combos like Onion Bhaji, Fish & Chips, Crispy Duck and Hoisin, Cajun Squirrel and Chilli & Chocolate crisps hit the shelves.

For a limited time, shoppers can now get their hands on a packet of Roast Chicken with Heinz Mayo, Cheese Toastie with Heinz Beans, or Sausage Sarnie with Heinz Ketchup crisps.

Its Sausage Sarnie crisps are proving particularly popular, even attracting foodies from the other side of the world.

In fact, they're being so well-received they're currently out of stock on Sainsbury's website. After being posted on the viral Facebook account New Foods UK, which has more than 390,000 followers, crisp lovers flocked to the comments section to hail the new flavour.

"We should go to the UK just for a pack of these," one couple from New Zealand said. "Need these in my life," declared another user. A third raved: "My all time favourite."

However, swathes of foodies were quick to criticise the crisps for featuring ketchup, and not brown sauce. "Brown sauce and I'd have been there," one shopper moaned. Another agreed, commenting: "I'm not six years old. Where's the HP?" while a third raged: "No - it should be sausage sarnie with BROWN sauce. Shaking my head."
