Silverstone is gearing up for a rip-roaring weekend as British speedsters Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, and George Russell prep to make their mark on the British Grand Prix.

The buzz around the Formula One spectacle is electric after last weekend's contentious clash between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris at the Austrian Grand Prix.

The scrap saw Norris go for gold with a gutsy move, only to end up in a tangle with Verstappen, leading to an early exit for the Brit and a limping fifth-place finish for Verstappen post-pit stop.

Verstappen was slapped with a 10-second penalty for sparking the scuffle, and despite Norris initially hinting he'd lose "respect" for the three-time world champ if he shirked responsibility, he's since walked back his heated comments.

But it was Mercedes' own George Russell who nicked the win out of the chaos, bagging the victory in Austria. Now, striding into Silverstone with a win under his belt, Russell is ready to take on the grand stage with momentum on his side.
