Blokes who want to ‘get lucky’ have been warned – don’t talk about football!

Researchers analysed 23,000 Tinder profiles - looking at ‘about me’, ‘interests’ and ‘pros and cons’ - to find the ‘key’ hobbies and interests for both men and women looking for love. They found that despite 23% of blokes saying they liked football, just 4% of women said the same.

Pubs, pumping iron and comedy were also sure-fire misses when it came to fellas trying to woo a partner. Instead, blokes should focus on widening their interests to travel, music, coffee, movies and walking - all top attractions from women.

Men have been told to not mention football while on a date

A spokesman or CasinoZonder, which conducted the study, said: “We analysed 23,000 Tinder profiles to identify the most common interests of singles looking for love. We found that men may need to skip some hobbies - like football, sports, and pubs - and instead indulge in more leisurely activities, like travel, music and grabbing a coffee, to appeal to women.

“Unfortunately for men hoping to meet a partner who shares their love of the sport, it may be slightly trickier - with only 4% of women including football on their profiles.”
