Valerie Loureda's social media uploads have been making both WWE and Bellator fans envious.

The Cuban-American star is becoming one of the most popular rising female wrestlers in the industry, courtesy of her athletic and battling performances in NXT under the alias Lola Vice. She recently won the 2023 NXT Women's Breakout Tournament, barely 18 months after swapping an MMA career with Bellator for the global professional wrestling brand.

However, when she is not clotheslining and power-slamming people in the ring, Loureda has also amassed one million followers on Instagram through her series of uploads ranging from training videos, to more raucous modelling posts. Her most recent photo shoot saw her don a daring turquoise swimsuit and bikini at the beach.

One fan described her post as: "amazing" before a second said she was: "the greatest of all time". One creepy follower then added: "Who knew you could get jealous of sand," before one other demanded: "Let me join you".

Fellow WWE and NXT colleague Nikita Lyons also expressed her admiration for Loureda by commenting a love heart, a flame and a heart face emoji. While she may enjoy the occasional raunchy post on social media, Loureda takes her wrestling extremely seriously.

In an interview on The Hall of Fame with Booker T and Brad Gilmore podcast, she said: “A lot of people say they are going to be the best, but they don’t put in the work. I do that. I know every time I step into the ring, I’m confident because I’m extremely prepared, more than anyone else.

“A big part of this business is being reliable, being able to perform at all times, being able to adapt, and I think everything my life has thrown at me, I’ve been able to overcome it. I actually perform better under pressure, under the big lights.

Loureda is deeply admired in WWE

“In MMA, my first professional debut, I was 20 years old and my professional debut was in the Mohegan Sun Arena, pay-per-view, no shin guards for the first time in my life. First round knockout. My second fight in MMA was in Madison Square Garden.

“This is something that I know, if I put in the work, as soon as I get there, I’m going to perform. Here in WWE, it’s no different. Every time I go in there, I give it 100%, my work ethic…I’m there every single day, I still haven’t taken a day off, I haven’t taken a vacation, I’m completely committed to this and I am going to be the best female sports entertainer in the history of WWE.”
