During a repeat episode of Bargain Hunt, the red team's purchase left auctioneer James Lewis less than impressed. The team, guided by expert Izzie Balmer, had £300 to splash on three items at the racecourse.
Team member H was captivated by a wooden propeller-turned clock, priced at £140. Although he liked it, the price tag was a bit steep for his taste.
The seller dropped the asking price to £120, and Izzie mentioned she'd seen similar items perform well at auctions, though they've also bombed spectacularly.
She commented: "People do collect them, it is expensive for auction but it would tick the big spend, it would tick one of the challenges."
After some deliberation, H and teammate Maisha managed to negotiate the price down to £95, reports the Express.

However, when show host Charlie Ross presented the item to auctioneer James Lewis, he was far from thrilled, especially with the price paid.
Examining the piece, he remarked: "It didn't start life as a good propeller, I'd be surprised if that thing ever flew."
"Then somebody has ripped the front clock off of what looks to be from a Teasmade and hammered it on the front of it. It's an absolute shocking thing!"
James was shocked to discover the team had forked out £95 for it, after slapping a modest estimate of £30 to £50 on the questionable collectible.

As James started to introduce it to the room of potential buyers, he quipped: "Completely bonkers, £35 bid? You're not going to see another!"
In the end, it managed to sell for £40 which gave them a loss of £55. However, their luck seemed to change when their Lord Of The Rings figure of Aragorn was a massive hit with buyers.
Buying it for £150, the bids started coming in thick and fast as the red team quickly made a profit within minutes.
Selling for a total of £260, Izzie applauded the incredible sale, as they finished selling all of their items, Charlie quipped: "I tell you what H, you've made £100 despite buying that propeller. Agreeing, Izzie quipped: "I know, which is seriously impressive!"
Despite both teams making money, H and Maisha were the winners of the episode with a total profit of £100.
