Emmerdale fans reckon Ruby Fox Milligan (Beth Cordingly) and her hubby Caleb (William Ash) might be hiding a secret daughter. The pair recently waved off their lad Nicky (Lewis Cope) after he got fed up with their lies.

With Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) sniffing around the Milligans for a possible link to Ethan's (Emile John) hit-and-run, Caleb stepped up to take the fall, keeping Ruby out of the firing line.

The scheming duo tried to get Nicky on board with their latest scam, but he'd had enough and decided to leg it from the village with Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana). Even though Nicky could've spilled the beans that Ruby was behind the wheel for the hit-and-run, not Caleb, he kept schtum.

As Nicky bid farewell, Ruby attempted to make him stay, but he wasn't having any of it. Now, some eagle-eyed ITV soap fans are buzzing with theories that Nicky has a sister lurking about, reports the Express.

A Reddit thread dedicated to Emmerdale gossip saw one viewer question whether Caleb and Ruby have another kid.

Their post read: "Do Ruby and Caleb have a daughter? I've heard a good few people talking about Nicky's sister. When Nicky got into the car crash, some people were wondering if Nick's sister would come to the village."

Before stating: "I was wondering where people got the idea that Nicky had a sister. I don't remember any mentions of her and if he does have one, Ruby and Caleb clearly don't care about her."

This comment sparked a flurry of responses from viewers who agreed. One person responded: "Nicky completed mismatched with Caleb and Ruby. Yes - maybe a daughter who has previously "divorced" herself from the dysfunctional duo could make an appearance?" (sic)

Another viewer questioned: "Was there not a scene in Caleb's kitchen between Ruby and Nicky right after Ruby arrived where she said 'you and your sister' to Nicky?" (sic)

A third added their thoughts: "With Caleb's past the guy must have a secret kid out there somewhere right?"

While another echoed: "Nicky completely mismatched with Caleb and Ruby. Yes - maybe a daughter who has previously "divorced" herself from the dysfunctional duo could make an appearance?"

"I've read comments about a daughter/ sister too, but I've rewatched Caleb and Nicky's scenes countless times and not heard any mention. Caleb told Leyla he had 'kids' but that could've been a lie", one fan exclaimed.

While another chimed in: "Have they both cheated on each other? Pretty certain Ruby said flings when Caleb and her weren't together or separated at the time that's not proper cheating. Also doesn't really seem in Caleb's character to take back a cheating wife the guy is very much a egotistical guy a person who likes to think he is top dog number 1?? " (sic).
