This Morning fans were completely divided after seeing The Chase star Mark Labbett on their screens on Monday (October 17).

The quizzer, 57, was welcomed into the ITV studio and spoke to hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary about his new book Can You Beat The Beast.

Speaking about his latest venture, the Beast said it was "really hard work" writing the book which is a combination of quizzes and tips on how to be a top quizzer.

But minutes into his chat with the presenters, viewers took to social media and shared their thoughts on his appearance.

Several pointed out Mark's jaw-dropping weight loss, saying that they thought he looked incredible.

One user penned: "Mark Labbett looks incredible after dropping off the weight. Watching his interview, he seems like such a lovely man #ThisMorning."

"Wow!! Good on Mark, he looks sensational #ThisMorning," added a second.

A third wrote: "Mark looks so healthy"

While someone else said: "Just turned over @MarkLabbett has lost some weight looking good."

However, others believed The Chaser wasn't looking his best as one asked: "Is mark homeless?!"

"Looks like he’s just crawled out of bed to be honest #ThisMorning," said a second.

While a third added: "WOW! Doesn't he look different! #ThisMorning."

The game show star reflected on his life since becoming a chaser, saying: "13 years and I've gone from being a very overweight maths teacher who was going to be in the same room for the rest of his career to someone who has gone around the world, I have a lovely son now.

"Who knew?" he exclaimed

Mark recently spoke to Daily Star at the National Television Awards and revealed he has been turned down from I'm A Celebrity four times due to his weight.

He said: “Four times I’ve been asked to apply for an ITV reality TV show. But at every point they’ve gone from really wanting me to suddenly my weight is an issue.

“I’m getting a bit jacked off about that. Especially now that I’m down to the weight I am.”
