It's official: David Arquette and Courteney Cox are no longer husband and wife.
On Tuesday, a judge in L.A. Superior Court entered a final judgment officially marking the end of their 12-year union, E! News confirmed.
The former spouses, who are parents to 7-year-old daughter Coco, announced their separation in October 2010. It wasn't until June 2012 that they both filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. They also asked the court to award them both joint legal and physical custody of their little girl.
But there are no hard feelings between these two. Courteney gushed to Ellen DeGeneres earlier this year about David, saying, "I mean…It's hard. I don't recommend divorce in general but you know, he is my best friend and we've both grown and changed and I think we both appreciate each other more. I hope he does. I do."
It's nice to see that some exes really can be friendly.
