The San Antonio Spurs won the 2023 NBA draft lottery and selected 7-foot-5 French prospect Victor Wembanyama with the No. 1 pick on June 22.

The 19-year-old that LeBron James dubbed "a generational talent" captivated basketball fans during a two-game exhibition showcase in October against Scoot Henderson's G League Ignite.
