Jennifer Lopez Weighs In on Ben Affleck's Viral Paparazzi Faces: 'He Is Happy' (Exclusive)

Jennifer Lopez talked to ET at the Golden Globes about her husband's viral facial expressions, noting he is "happy."

Jennifer Lopez has something to say about those iconic faces her new hubby, Ben Affleck, makes in paparazzi photos.

Making their Golden Globes debut, Affleck and Lopez were the picture-perfect couple as they arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the event. Talking with ET's Kevin Frazier, the singer and actress opened up about her upcoming album and film, and some of the pictures of her hubby out and about, which have become infamous on the internet.

"Ben is doing alright. You don’t need to worry about Ben, let me just tell you," the 54-year-old actress said of her husband's facial expressions. "He is good. He is happy. He is here -- he is nominated. I'm chilling, I don’t understand what people are so pressed for."

The photos in question are of Affleck out on the street, often with Dunkin' in hand, running errands and looking hilariously relatable. Lopez said she doesn't understand the appeal, telling ET, "They don't pick up on my face."

For her Globes debut alongside her man, Lopez wore a custom Nicole + Felicia gown. For her glam, the "Jenny From The Block" songstress wore jewelry by Boucheron, a bag from Judith Leiber and shoes by Christian Louboutin.

Affleck kept things classic in a black tuxedo and his signature beard.

The pair -- who tied the knot in 2022 -- showed minimal PDA as they walked the carpet.

Allowing his leading lady to have some shine, the Oscar-winning actor stepped to the side while photographer captured solo shots of Lopez.

Affleck, who is a two-time Golden Globe winner -- made his last appearance at the ceremony in 2017. For her part, Lopez last attended the ceremony in 2020 with her then-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez.

This year marks their first appearance at the awards ceremony together. Later in the evening, the couple were snapped taking in a sweet moment inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel during the ceremony.

While he's not up for a solo award, Air (which Affleck starred in and produced alongside Matt Damon) is nominated in the Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy category. The stacked category also includes, American Fiction, Barbie, The Holdovers, May December and Poor Things
