The 14th GW Ethics in Publishing Conference will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, with in-person and virtual presentations and attendees, at the George Washington University’s Foggy Bottom Campus, City View Room, and virtually-only on Friday, October 11. The City View Room offers sweeping views of the nation capital’s top landmarks, providing a remarkable backdrop for a spectacular event!


Registration for the conference is free. Please indicate on the registration form whether you plan to attend in-person or virtually.


We are thrilled that we received a record number of presentation proposals this year. The full schedule for 2024 is now available on the conference website. The conference will include students and professionals in trade, academic, and scholarly publishing, library and information sciences, and scholarly communications on topics such as artificial intelligence (AI), multilingual publishing; workplace equity; open access (OA); DEI initiatives; accessibility; peer review; publishing strategies and more.


The GW Ethics in Publishing conference is organized by the George Washington University Master of Professional Studies in Publishing program, in collaboration with the GW Journal of Ethics in Publishing.
