Traveling to the Museum
We anticipate a large turnout for this event. We encourage you to take public transportation to the Museum. You will find more information below:
Public Transportation
You can easily get to the Museum using the Newark Light Rail, getting off at the Harriet Tubman Square stop or the Washington Street stop. You can also arrive via NJ Transit heavy rail, as we are three blocks from Broad Street Station.
Driving
The Museum has a parking lot with limited space. It is $10 to park. Downtown Newark has ample on-street parking. We also recommend going to http://Parking.com and searching using the Museum's Address, 49 Washington Street, Newark, NJ to find available parking.
Uber/Lyft
The Museum is located at 49 Washington Street. You will enter through our main entrance which faces Washington Street.
