About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is pleased to provide a free, government-wide learning series for all federal employees. The learning series is titled Gov2Gov as it was created by federal employees, for federal employees, and consists of content developed to meet the unique needs, missions, and service culture of the federal workforce. The Gov2Gov learning series targets two highly sought out areas, artificial intelligence and mindfulness in the hybrid environment. This learning series responds to the extensive feedback received from federal employees who participated in OPM’s 2023 Thriving in a Hybrid Environment training for additional OPM-led trainings they would like to attend.

The government-wide Gov2Gov learning series is a component of OPM’s Workforce of the future initiative. Training managers and supervisors to support the federal workforce in hybrid work is part of our strategy of enabling the federal workforce to thrive in the workplace of the future, and part of the broader objective of creating a roadmap to the future workforce.

The artificial intelligence learning series titled “Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals” will equip federal employees with a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence, which will better prepare and encourage you to engage in discussions, ask informed questions, and implement approved artificial intelligence tools within your own agencies.

Developed and facilitated by OPM, the artificial intelligence learning series will include content based on federal guidance and field-based research regarding:

  • Understanding current artificial intelligence guidance
  • Exploring the types of artificial intelligence
  • Anticipating and encountering AI benefits and challenges
  • Connecting individual impacts and organizational outcomes

Multiple virtual sessions will be offered this summer and fall. Registration is required and limited, so please register as soon as you’re able. Virtual sessions for all federal employees will be provided on the following dates and times:
