’ve long believed that there isn’t enough fiction about friendships being published these days. Which means, of course, that there’s an even shorter supply of books about friendships among women and girls. Fortunately Ruchika Tomar’s debut novel, , is one such, I was excited to learn more about the woman behind the book. Raised in Southern California, Ruchika attended the University of California in Irvine and the MFA program at Columbia University. A recent Wallace Stegner Fellow, she is currently a Jones Lecturer at Stanford University.
