Flying for riding purposes, part one

Flying is increasingly a part of adventure motorcycling. Even if you are off on the fabled round-the-world trip at some point you are going to arrive at areas of water that necessitate a boat or plane. For the rest of us, adventure motorcycling probably means flying somewhere exciting, remote or far away to ride a bike for a few weeks.

I have flown a fair bit, as before my current career in touring I lived in the Channel Islands for a number of years.
