Lauren travels often to speak about her parents’ deaths. She got involved with the Addiction Prevention Coalition in Birmingham, for more information. Lauren will head to Virginia for a great reason next spring—she’s getting married! She and her fiancé, John, picked the Mountain Lake Lodge for their wedding venue. It’s not only where the movie was filmed but, more important, near where Lauren and John grew up. “It’s so special to go home after all the moving around I’ve done for work,” she says.
