It’s hard to out in public sometimes. Once people notice my missing left arm, they tend to stare. Or look away. Some people ask how it happened. Usually kids, ones who haven’t yet been taught to avoid those questions. I say, “God wanted you to notice me—so we’d get this chance to meet.” But I didn’t always have a good answer. Not until the wedding. And the guest who proved we’re all connected in ways unseen.
