STIGMA AND CONSPIRACIES SURROUNDING COVID ESCALATE

The world has undoubtedly experienced an information overload since the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak in the Chinese city of Wuhan nine months ago.

The misinformation ranged from how drinking bleach could cure the virus, to the notion that the virus was “medical terrorism” or a bioweapon engineered in a laboratory and unleashed by China to wage economic and psychological warfare against the rest of the world.
