    God’s Independence

    In previous articles we covered some important groundwork for our understanding of God. We noted that God must reveal Himself to us in order for us to accurately speak about His nature. This is why the Bible is so important, because it is God’s self-revelation. We also noted that despite God’s incomprehensibility, as He is an infinite Being, God stoops down to our level so that we may understand Him. The point of all this is so that we as finite, fallen humans can have an intimate relationship with our Maker.
