TIME FOR A TRIM

Just like the 21st Century Rapunzel (YOU, 13 August), I too had hair of an exceptional length. As a teenager my hair grew down to below the back of my knees and was my mother’s pride and joy.

My best friend also had long hair but, whereas my mother trimmed at least 4mm
