Problems related to scale model testing
Why is it that a test tank or basin can’t be less than a football pitch and the little “models” used for R&D are 4.5 metres long and more at times? Wouldn’t things be easier and cheaper to test 50 cm models in a tank which is the size of a swimming pool?
