Travelling to the Continent by Ferry from Britain 1958-2018

This publication will give the reader a nostalgic insight into the ferry operations from Britain to the Continent from the late 1950s to 2018. Each of the principal routes, serving the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain and Scandinavia, is covered with a brief history of the route, together with a wealth of photographs, brochures and other memorabilia.

The book also includes details of the Night Ferry service via Dover and the other train ferry services to the Continent. The book contains maps to illustrate the now defunct routes from the UK. It is lavishly illustrated, with detailed captions accompanying the many fine photographs, which depict all the major ferries to operate between the UK and Europe. NL • Published by Ferry, hardback, 18.95 plus postage.
