SIMPLIFIED COLOURS

Because I sketched for many years using just pencil and ink, colour was always a bit of a foreign language. Colour intimidated me. When I bought my first set of watercolour paints, I was very hesitant and, as a result, my washes were timid and pale.

I am much more confident now with colour, and much bolder with colour choices. But I certainly understand how colour can be confusing. One solution is purposefully limiting your colour
