BEST MAN

A guy takes his new girlfriend to a soccer match. A substitute is sent onto the field and as he runs to take his position, the guy says to his girlfriend, “Look at that fellow. I expect him to be our best man next year.”

His girlfriend smiles widely, snuggles closer to him and says, “That’s the strangest marriage proposal I’ve ever heard but it doesn’t matter, my darling – I accept!”
