The thinking never stops

OVER the years, I have given many lectures on wild plants and seeds, and have written about specific plants such as the dandelion in Cage & Aviary Birds.

With habitat destruction, our plant population has declined. Coltsfoot, shepherd’s purse, groundsel and greater plantain were all common once. Only dandelion seems to be holding its own and is most plentiful at the side of roads. In my view, there is no substitute for feeding wild plants.
