WE MUST STICK TOGETHER

I READ with interest Eleanor Jones’s recent online opinion piece: “Scaremongering clickbait, or a very real threat?” (21 June), and found myself drawing parallels between horse racing and licensed greyhound racing.

Like horse racing, licensed greyhound racing is facing increasing hostility from animal rights activists who seek to spread myths and untruths about standards of welfare.

Their targeted campaigns can have a real and detrimental impact. We are never going to convince these
