‘I went into a really dark place. I kept thinking: “Oh my God, what’s happening to me?”’

A couple of years ago, Seema Malhotra went from being a bright, sunny, indefatigable fashion designer and reality TV personality to someone who was constantly tired and forgetful, anxious and snappy.

“I went into a really dark place,” she says, speaking from her gorgeous home in Hale, near Altrincham, where she lives with husband Sandeep and their sons, Neil, 25, and Aaron, 22. “I kept thinking: ‘Oh my God, what’s happening to me?’”

It wasn’t until she was diagnosed as being menopausal and treated for the symptoms that star could feel like her old self again.
