Apparently, the theme for this issue is Jeffreys Bay. Well, that’s what the editor told me. He could have been lying. It wouldn't have been the first time. Anyway, it’s one of my favourite spots, and I was happy to write about it. Well… happy might be a stretch. I was given, like, 20 minutes to come up with something. That’s what happens when you do work for a company run by surfers. They sometimes forget to tell you things.

Here we go, then. Jeffreys Bay was named after an English deviant
