Spring’s icy fling

I pulled back the bedroom curtains and there it was. Or was it? I rubbed my knuckles into my sleepy eyes, stretched and groaned, and then looked again. No, I wasn’t hallucinating. It wasn’t exactly thick and it wasn’t exactly everywhere, but it was definitely there. Snow!
