Canaries Month by Month: OCTOBER

CANARIES

AT THE time of writing, the canary show season is just about to commence. It's an exciting time, although my thoughts are mainly occupied by my potential pairings for 2023, and which birds I shall retain to progress my stud. I have had several birdroom visitors, resulting in the birds being thinned out a little, but the majority are still finishing off their moults, so remain fixtures at this time. Another day, another floor full of feathers! It's never-ending, as most canary breeders will know only too well.
