THOROUGHBRED LOVE

HOW I enjoyed reading about retrained racehorses expert Lucinda Sims (“All in a day's work”, 6 October). She's obviously a true horseman who has great empathy.

I came from a farming family, one of. ve children, and we always had horses and were lucky enough to experience all sorts of Pony Club activities, including mounted games, eventing, hunting and point-to pointing.
