Pyrrhuras: popular and prolific

PARAKEETS

I HAVE always loved the Pyrrhura parakeets because they are so lively and inquisitive and intelligent and they nest readily. Their plumage colours range from subtle and attractive to gaudy. Most of these parakeets are also very friendly and confiding. To me, that is extremely important. I don't want to keep birds that fly away from me when I approach their aviary!
