NO STOPPING ME

Returning my dumbbell to the rack, I wiped my brow.

Another good workout well done!

I’ve always loved sports and exercise, but my workouts have always been a little different.

You see, I was born without my left hand or lower leg.

And while I had never let this restrict me before, I knew that I would never be as strong as I could be with two hands.

I’d always had a prosthetic leg and learnt to do things with just one hand.

Despite this, I was still more active than most people.

My mum Bibi, 57, had worked in a gym when my sisters Aira, 27, and Teddy, 19, and I were growing up – which meant we spent a lot of time around sports and fitness.
