Sally’s eyes went misty as she watched the couple at the altar. She never thought she’d see this day! Her daughter Izzy had always been picky. She would take days, if not weeks, before deciding on a pair of shoes. As for men, well she was even choosier!

But now she’d found Brian, the man of her dreams. There was just one problem…

Of course, Sally told herself as she glanced at the boy sitting next to her, 13-year-old Henry wasn’t exactly a ‘problem’. But this marriage was going to be a big change. Henry had always lived with his dad rather than his mum, so it wasn’t going to be easy for any of them.

Still, thought Sally as she followed the crowd to the reception, at least Henry also had a grandfather. He was going to look after the boy when the happy couple were on their three-week honeymoon. There he was now, on the dance floor.
