100% Softbills: the 2023 event

BIRDS & BIRDKEEPING

SHOWS

IN 2018, three friends set out to hold our first 100% Softbills event and we hoped for big things. We tried to make it different – unique, in fact – and to do things that other events did not do. We succeeded on many levels and had variable results on others.

What we did not know, just thosethis type of event and the hours of time that volunteers put in to get it together add up amazingly. It all shows the passion that is still left in the hobby. This year's event is sponsored again by Jonathan Stephenson of Softbills in Aviculture, the specialist softbill products supplier. Jonathan enjoys the show and makes many lifelong customers, who buy from him either on the day or online after the event.
